Are you open all year?

Almost. We’re open from 19th March to 19th February. Closing between 19th February and 19th March.

Do you accept groups?

Definitely! We are pleased to accommodate groups of friends or families. Please let us know if you want to be sited together by leaving a note/special request on your booking.

Do you accept same sex groups/ teenagers/hen/stag parties?

Yes, we accept same sex groups, teenagers (over the age of 18), hen and stag parties.

Do you offer seasonal pitches?

Yes we do please contact us for more information and view our seasonal pitches terms and conditions.

Do you allow rallies?

Yes we do, we have a large dedicated rally field which can accommodate 60 Units.

All groups intending to hold a rally at Rose & Crown Camping Site must hold either:

  • Club Meetings or Rally Exemption
  • Supervised and Occupied Sites Exemption
What accommodation can we bring?

We welcome all guests with Touring Caravans, Campervan, Motorhomes (Class A, B, B+ and C), Tents (2 man, Medium and Large) and Trailer Tents .

Can we hire accommodation from you?

Yes, you can book our Static Caravans or Touring Caravans. Subject to a minimum two nights stay.

How do I make a booking?

Head on over to our booking portal, where you can check availability and view the prices for accommodation and optional extras

What is Max Occupancy and Inclusive Occupancy?

All accommodation is subject to maximum occupancy rate that must not be exceeded for health and safety.

All accommodation types include an inclusive occupancy level. Any additional adult guests above this level up to the max occupancy level during High Season are subject to an additional fee per night.

Do you have electric hookup?

Yes we offer electric hookup to guests as an optional extra. This does incur a charge per night.

Electricity is supplied at 10A with 230V.

Guests must use an Electric Hook-up Connector and an extension at least 10 meters in length as you may be not be sited directly next to a hook-up point. Only one EHU is permitted to be connected per accommodation.

Please be considerate of other guests and the site and do not use high-energy consuming devices for prolonged periods and a multiple ones at the same time.

What optional extras can we add?

Including Electric Hook-up you are also able to add Gazebos, Awnings and Tent Porches to your booking.

How do I amend or cancel a booking?

You can cancel your booking through the customer portal and your account details were sent to the email address you used to book. If you have any problems please contact us.

Please contact us before you arrive should you want to amend your booking.

Do you offer refunds to cancelled bookings?

Yes we do please see our Cancellations and Refunds section in our Terms and Conditions.

What time can I arrive?

During High Season guests using our camping site can check in from 2 pm.

During Low Season guests using our camping site can check in at anytime. Though please be respectful of other guests.

Guests staying in our Static Caravans or Tourers can check in from 2 pm.

Are there marked pitches?

We don’t have any marked pitches. On arrival you will be directed to an area that has been allocated to you.

Can I use a barbecue?

Yes, free standing barbecues are permitted. Ground-level barbecues are not.

Can I use a campfire or other open fires?

No, campfires and other open fires are not permitted on our site in order to protect any and all vegetation.

Are there toilets and showers on site?

We provide shower and toilet facilities for exclusive use of guests on our camping site. This includes three free to use showers, separate Male and Female toilets and one unisex disabled toilet. Our staff regularly monitor and clean these facilities on a daily basis.

What time do I have to leave?

During High Season guests using our camping site must check out by 11 am.

During Low Season guests may leave at their leisure.

Guests staying in our Static Caravans or Tourers must check out by 10 am.

Is the swimming pool and hot tube free to use and when can I use them?

Our swimming pool and hot tub are both open to all guests from 10 am. We are only allowing a limited number of people into the swimming pool at any time to maintain social distancing. Please be respectful of other guests and should another group be waiting please vacate the swimming pool if you have been in for a long time.

Our Hot Tub remains adults only.

Do I need a table reservation for Rose & Crown Restaurant?

No, you do not need a table reservation in order to eat at Rose & Crown Restaurant.

We are only able to accept groups up to 6 people which includes children and infants. We operate on a strict table service basis. Guests are not permitted to order or wait at bar areas. Our team members will take your order at your table.

    Directions and Map

    Please avoid Low Road when travelling via Hurn Road/Marsh Road as it is a narrow residential lane. Rose & Crown Bar & Restaurant and Camping Site is situated at the top of Low Road which can be accessed further down Marsh Road rather than travelling up Low Road.

    Rose & Crown Camping Site – From A17 turn down and follow Hurn Road/ Marsh Road. The camping site entrance is on the right after Rose & Crown Bar & Restaurant.

    Rose & Crown Bar & Restaurant – From A17 turn down and follow Hurn Road/Marsh Road. Turn right on to Low Road and the car park is on the left just after Rose & Crown Bar & Restaurant.
